I love the scripture Allan brings up; it really coincides with how we approach our work. God gave us our creativity, let's use it! Do our best with it! Great topic, and wow some of those links are gorgeous. So few ministries value design like they should. One story I always bring up in such discussions is how the Lord "filled Bezalel [builder of the Tabernacle] with the Holy Spirit". God gave specific instructions on beauty and construction. He cares about quality. If He cares, so should we, in everything. Good design draws attention. Great design isn’t even really noticed – it’s doing it’s job perfectly.
