I’m sitting here, soaking wet like everyone else, but greatly enjoying the Echo Conference thus far. For those not fortunate enough to make it here, here’s a little recap:

But Echo is not the only newsworthy event that has occurred this week. So it’s time for a little Week in Review.

• Harry Potter fans, an invisibility cloak may be on its way, but sadly, the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been delayed until next summer. Blimey!
• Were some of the Olympic Opening Ceremonies fireworks faked? Yes, but this goof up is 100% real: Why not to use Windows when running demanding multimedia presentations.
• Mark Batterson continues to post snippets from his upcoming book, Wild Goose Chase.
• Watch the Religulous movie trailer. 
• Tony Morgan asks “Why do we Twitter?”
• A new twist on what things look like from space. Amazing.
• Bill Gates predicts the future.
• Read this SvN post, “Gearheads Don’t Get It,” immediately. Seriously. Go. 
• Do schools kill our creativity?
