Have It Your Way
I hope you like COLLIDE Magazine, I really do. But whether you love everything about it or there are things you’d like to see us do differently, I invite you to become more than a reader–I invite you to participate in our magazine.
What areas of media, technology, and the Church are you passionate about? What trends are you most excited or concerned about? More important, how much editorial space have we dedicated to those areas? Depending on your areas of interest, we may have dedicated a lot, a little, or no editorial space to your favorite church/media/tech topic. The good news is, you have the power to change that.
Since we first launched our website we’ve had a Write for COLLIDE page, but I think some of you are unaware of it. Visit that page for information about our editorial focus and the kinds of content and proposals we’re looking for. Then, if you find yourself inspired, use the link on that page to email me directly with your article ideas, proposals, and submissions.
If you want to send us an idea and let us write it, that’s great. If you want to take a crack at writing it yourself, that’s great, too. While we won’t be able to use all of your ideas and submissions, this is a very real way in which you can participate in COLLIDE Magazine, help shape our direction and content, and share your ideas and passions with the rest of our reader community.
Again, we can’t take everything you send us. Some of it may go in our print magazine, some of it may be used on our site, and some of it may be rejected for content, focus, or style reasons. Whatever happens, this is our invitation to you to be an active part of COLLIDE, and I hope you’ll consider it. Here’s that Write for COLLIDE link again.
